Hey there

Well, as you can see, I haven't been on here much at all and have little to no activity. I think it's going to stay that way. I really appreciate those who I've become friends with on here and those who just stop by a visit. It's nice that my art gets attention around here

But, I honestly am sick and tired of where DeviantArt has gone and no longer wish to be a part of it. I'm sorry to bitch, but I'm definitely sick of it here. I noticed that others feel this way once a while but then will go back into DA because hell yeah, it's addicting. But I'm not going to do that. There's millions and millions of accounts on here of people that just sit here and favorite other people's work, copy other people's work, or try to get other people's numbers. What the fuck happened to DA? It didn't used to be this way. It's too overcrowded and spammed. I miss it back in the day when every person on here had something to show, and it didn't have to look AMAZING to get attention. It was worth getting online every minute you could

Everything got the attention it deserved and wasn't overshadowed by someones squiggly that they drew while taking a shit. Again, sorry to bitch, but this is my perception on how it's going.

Arg anyway, my point is that I love all of you and you all are AMAZING people! I just don't want to be a part of it anymore. I'm going to set up a livejournal or flickr account and move my art onto it. I will let you know when I do so you can keep tabs if you want, because I will definitely be adding the new ones I've done. Besides that, I'm going to miss everyone very very much. I hope all is well with everyone.

I totally understand how you feel regarding the way DA is going. Nowadays it really is like any Joe Blow with a tablet and some understanding of Photoshop can throw a scribble together, color it, and it gets 500 favorites. :/
Of course, we discussed this the other day so you already now my stance on it.

You should totally get a LJ account. I've got some awesome communities I'm part of on there and I'll give you the links for them, they're less elitist than a lot of the places here on DA.

Let me know when you set something up. I'd like to see more of your work. I miss it. I feel the same way. I have work that I would like to share...i feel that it is pointless at times on here though at times. I feel i owe some people on here though. I have seen amazing work from a few people on here including you. I will most likely still try at times to view their work and give them my comments. I really miss people just looking at work and giving feedback...favorites are worthless to me.

I need to create more art, my soul is restless.

I understand too - just found your incredible artwork so I do hope you continue to post, or at least share your other site with us. Your pastels are so awesome and so lifelike!
